Open as part of Somerset Open Studios, Albatross offers original work by Watchet artists Lisa Benson, Sue Lowe and Sarah Ward, created using our studio’s etching, relief and silkscreen facilities.
Somerset’s wild coast influences the work of all three artists. In work ranging from bold abstracts to instantly recognisable local landmarks viewers will find references to the lines, layers and surface patterns in the landscape and the magical play of light on the sea. We will be on hand to talk about our inspirations and explain the alchemical working processes employed by printmakers.

This event is part of Somerset Open Studios 2023, a countywide event taking place 16th September to 1st October, during which nearly 300 artists are opening their workplaces to visitors.
