We meet for our Autumnal Forage Walk on Tuesday 24th September 10am at Highbridge Train Station, Highbridge TA9 3HQ

Rebekah will lead us on a journey beside the river Brue exploring the uses of the plants that we find on our walk. Please wear clothing and footwear that is appropriate for the weather, and remember even if it is a sunny day the ground underfoot can be wet and uneven.

We will then head to The PurpleSpoon Cafe in Highbridge where you will be able to warm up or cool down (weather dependant) with a drink and learn how to make Rebekah’s alcohol free Fire Cider using some foraged ingredients. Don’t forget to bring your jam jar.

Our session should finish at around 12.30pm

This walk has been organised as part of the Brue Green Pathways project and in partnership with Somerset Wildlife Trust as part of their Wilder Coast project with funding from HPC Community Fund and The National Lottery’s Community Fund Climate Action Fund
