A Bridgwater Walkabout to explore the history of the town from Domesday to the C18th. Expect Robber Barons, Naughty Ladies, Generals at Sea and corrupt politicians!

Walk Leader:

The walk will be led by Chris Sidaway. Chris has spent most of his life working in the arts and creative industries, first as a design consultant and creative director and then as a local authority Arts Officer. He has a life-long interest in local history and archaeology and has led walks on arts and heritage themes, and lectured extensively on archaeology, local and military history and historic buildings.

Terrain:

The walk will be on level pavements and streets.
