The Disabled Ramblers Quantocks Tour takes place from the 25th to 29th September offering four rambles of differing levels of difficulty. This walk starts and ends at Ramscombe Great Wood car park and explores the Quantocks with an optional ascent to Wills Neck.

The Disabled Ramblers is a small charity working across England and Wales to help make the countryside more accessible to people with limited mobility. To participate in these rambles you need to be a member and details can be via the information link.

Starting from Ramscombe car park we climb to Crowcombe Park Gate then go along the old drovers road, a stunning path lined with beautiful beech trees. It can be rutted so 3-wheelers will need to proceed with caution. We will have lunch in a field near Triscombe stone. There is an optional steep ascent to Wills Neck, the highest point on the Quantocks with great views of the coast, the Bristol Channel and across to Wales, before returning to the car park.

Dogs: Please keep your dog close and under effective control on a short lead
Ramble: 6.6 Miles, Cat 3
Surface: Includes rocky areas and rutted tracks that need to be navigated with care. The ascent to Wills Neck is steep and with loose stone, but otherwise wide and level.
Scooter: Suitable for Class 3 scooters
