The Disabled Ramblers Quantocks Tour takes place from the 25th to 29th September offering four rambles of differing levels of difficulty. This Steart Marshes ramble is suitable for beginners.

The Disabled Ramblers is a small charity working across England and Wales to help make the countryside more accessible to people with limited mobility. To participate in these rambles you need to be a member and details can be via the information link.

Steart Marshes are run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and is a working wetland. Apart from a diverse range of birds, it also acts as flood defences for the local area. The route is an easy walk and the paths are well maintained. The route is suitable for all scooters and powerchairs with sufficient range and has a couple of inclines but not too steep.

Dogs: Please keep your dog close and under effective control on a short lead
Ramble: 6.7 Miles, Cat 2 - Suitable as a first ramble
Surface: Fine compacted stone
Scooter: Suitable for all scooters and powerchairs with at least an 8 mile range
