Disabled Ramblers Quantocks Tour – The Great Road
The Disabled Ramblers Quantocks Tour is taking place between 25th and 29th September. It includes four rambles with this one taking in views from the top of the Quantocks.
The Disabled Ramblers is a small charity working across England and Wales to help make the countryside more accessible to people with limited mobility. To participate in these rambles you need to be a member and details can be via the information link.
From Alfoxton House we go back to the 'Dog Pound' and climb the ridge along the Great Road, an ancient track. This can be rutted once we come out of the woods. We then ramble along the main spine of the Quantocks to Bicknoller and Halsway Posts for beautiful views out to the Bristol Channel and Wales, across to Exmoor and of course back to Hinkley Point!

Ramble: 6.5 Miles, Cat 3+
