Join Mr Jelley, the author of the Storywalks trails, in a gentle amble along the three Minehead Parks walks and help to raise funds for The Outdoor Guide Foundation’s campaign to provide waterproofs and wellies for Primary Schools.

On this Storywalk find out about the power of walnuts over witches, why conkers were collected for the war effort, and why farmers should guide their flocks through hoops made from rowan branches.

The walk begins at the lower park walk gate, approached from Parkhouse Road, Minehead TA24 8BT

The walk is level throughout and will betaken at a gentle amble.

The fee for the walk is £2 which includes booking fees and up to three children under the age of 12 years old. You are then able to add a donation of your choice to support The Outdoor Guide Foundation’s Waterproofs and Wellies campaign. All proceeds and donations will be used to support Primary School’s on the Somerset coast.

A donation of £35.00 – will buy and deliver 1 complete set of ‘Waterproofs and Wellies’  to a school and provide a child with The basics for jumping in a puddle!
