Join Mr Jelley, the author of the Storywalks trails, in a gentle amble around Minehead’s Quay town and help to raise funds for The Outdoor Guide Foundation’s campaign to provide waterproofs and wellies for Primary Schools.

During the walk you’ll experience tales of smuggling and maritime history, and discover the surprising location of Minehead’s inland lagoon, the tale of the stolen boy, and the silvery catch that brought prosperity and international trade to the town.

The walk begins in Blenheim Gardens, Blenheim Road, Minehead TA24 5QA

Make your way to the large circular flower bed at https://what3words.com/rave.cake.agent

This walk takes place on paths and pavements with one short hill up and a downhill with some steps in the middle.

The fee for the walk is £2 which includes booking fees and up to three children under the age of 12 years old. You are then able to add a donation of your choice to support The Outdoor Guide Foundation’s Waterproofs and Wellies campaign. All proceeds and donations will be used to support Primary School’s on the Somerset coast.

A donation of £35.00 – will buy and deliver 1 complete set of ‘Waterproofs and Wellies’  to a school and provide a child with The basics for jumping in a puddle!
