Join us on the first day of autumn for a fun Sea Shanty walk from Apex Wildlife & Leisure Park to the beach in Burnham-on-Sea, led by Aaron Glass and Chris Rusbridge from folk bank Apple of my Eye.

Meet at 3pm Apex Wildlife & Leisure Park car park TA8 1NQ on Sunday 22nd September

We will walk along the river Brue to the Esplanade in Burnham on Sea singing on the way and soaking up the beautiful scenery.

Please dress for the weather and wear sensible footwear.

The whole event should take no more than 2 hours.

The walk is slightly less than 2 miles, however if you park in Apex Car Park you will need to get back from the sea front in Burnham on Sea which is just over half a mile if you take the shortest route. If you don’t know the area please just ask us for more route information.

Families welcome – all those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Any questions please email ourhighbridge@gmail.com

This event has been organised as part of the Brue Green Pathways project and in partnership with Somerset Wildlife Trust as part of their Wilder Coast project with funding from HPC Community Fund and The National Lottery’s Community Fund Climate Action Fund
